Kani Brown, O.D.

Dr. Kani Brown received his Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. He earned his Doctor of Optometry from The Ohio State University School of Optometry in Columbus, Ohio in 2011. He then completed a residency in ocular disease at the Columbus And Chillicothe Ohio Veterans Hospital system in 2012. Following completion of his residency he moved to Northampton Massachusetts and practiced at Balin Eye and Laser Center for 11 years before partnering with Dr. Dostal and joining the Dostal Eyecare team.

Dr. Brown’s clinical interests include dry eye and ocular surface management. He was the first Optometrist to establish advanced dry eye services in the Pioneer Valley. He takes an Eye/Body/Mind approach to treating his patients. Dr. Brown enjoys trail running, mountain biking, hiking and snowboarding. He resides in Easthampton with his wife and two children.
