We hope this message finds you and yours healthy during these challenging times.
We want you to feel confident and comfortable visiting our office for your eye care appointments. Maintaining eye health is important to your overall health. Our team has had additional training to implement the following safety measures as mandated by the state and in accordance with best health practices from the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
NEW SAFETY MEASURES
Exam rooms and equipment will be cleaned before and after every patient according to CDC guidelines.
All glasses, frames, and tools used will be removed and only returned until fully sterilized with our UV-C sterilization box.
All patients, team members, and visitors will be screened and have temperatures taken. If you have a fever, cough, shortness of breath, or other COVID-19 symptoms we ask you to contact the office before your appointment to reschedule.
Team members will perform regular hand hygiene, use face shields and masks, continually clean and sterilize all high-touch surfaces, and common areas.
Only patients, or patients plus one critical caregiver, are allowed into an appointment.
All flyers, brochures, displays, toys, magazines, etc. have been removed.
Our office is closed to all people except patients and healthcare workers (no sales or delivery people will enter the facility).
We ask that you wear a face-covering.
We have implemented contactless payment methods to reduce germ spread via pens, and currency.
We’ve added time between appointments to allow for sanitizing and to keep patients apart from one another to avoid high volume or density.
Any patients or staff who were diagnosed with COVID-19 must have an all-clear notification from their physician before entering our facility.
We will ask all patients and caregivers to wash their hands upon arrival and have hand sanitizer provided in all areas of the office.
As always, our main concern is the safety and well-being of our patients and staff. If you have any questions or concerns, contact us at any time. To request an appointment, please click the schedule appointment link on our home page.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
